Both inside lanes of U.S. 72, just west of McCulley Mill Road, are blocked after a head-on collision, according to emergency radio dispatch reports. 

So far, three people have been reported injured. The extent of injuries is not known. 

A rescue helicopter, Air Evac, has been launched, according to reports.
