White facing 20 years to life following guilty verdict in Limestone

- Defendant Casey White, 35, of Tanner, is walked back to the jail van today following his trial in Limestone County Circuit Court. White was found guilty on nine charges, including the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend and the kidnapping of her two roommates in December 2015.
Casey Cole White, 35, of Tanner, has been found guilty of attempted murder, kidnapping, first-degree robbery and six other charges following his trial this week in Limestone County.
He is facing 20 year to life in prison.
Circuit Judge Robert Baker will sentence him at a later date.
After a three-day trial, jurors received the case about 10:50 a.m. today and deliberated about three hours before reaching a guilty verdict at 1:50 p.m. in Limestone County Circuit Court.
White was found guilty of a total of nine charges, including trying to kill his ex-girlfriend and kidnapping her two roommates in December 2015. Other charges included first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, breaking and entering a vehicle, animal cruelty for shooting a dog, and attempting to elude.
