PRATTVILLE (AP) — An Alabama woman is being accused of striking a man on a motorcycle with her vehicle in an act of road rage.

News outlets report 35-year-old Meleah Lauren Dollar-Gearreald from Montgomery was arrested Monday for assault.

Prattville Police Chief Mark Thompson says she got into a verbal altercation with a man on a motorcycle while driving a 2017 yellow Chevrolet Camaro.

Witnesses told Thompson that the motorcyclist attempted to ride away but she followed him and used her vehicle to strike him.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
