A person killed early Sunday in a one-vehicle crash in Limestone County has been identified as a Rogersville man, according to a press release from Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel.

Timothy Brian Fairbanks, 48, was the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado that left Elk River Mills Road, struck an embankment and caught fire. Fairbanks was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash, the release said.
