Limestone County sheriff’s investigators have recovered property they believe is stolen, but they aren’t sure from where.
Deputies responded to several calls near New Cut Road and Bill Black Road between Tuesday and Thursday, where several vehicles, shops and garages had been burglarized, according to Deputy Stephen Young, public information officer for LCSO. Investigators recognized the suspect in a security video as 29-year-old Dean Kyle Geiger.
Investigators arrested Geiger on two counts of third-degree burglary and two counts of breaking and entering a vehicle. Young said Geiger was found in a yard on Bill Black Road, and he was still in possession of items he had stolen at the time of his arrest.
On Thursday, an additional victim came forward to file a report, leading to a third count of breaking and entering a vehicle, one count of illegal possession of a debit card and one count of identity theft.
However, more property has been recovered from Geiger that has not been accounted for and is believed to be stolen, Young said. He encouraged residents near New Cut and Bill Black roads to check their vehicles, sheds and garages for missing property.
To report a theft, call Investigator Caleb Durden at 256-232-0111.
