DALEVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Police say they’ve apprehended 15 men as part of a prostitution sting in southeast Alabama.
Daleville public safety officials said the undercover operation was set up in response to rumors of prostitution taking place in Daleville.
The Dothan Eagle reports that police used undercover decoys, and that arrests were made after the suspects made it known what type of sexual encounter they wanted and a price was agreed upon.
All 15 men arrested are charged with third-degree promoting prostitution, a misdemeanor.
Authorities said that along with the prostitution charges, some of the suspects had drugs and weapons in their vehicles and will face additional charges.
