Legendary country singer and four-time Grammy award winner Keith Urban performed at the 2024 Country Fest on Friday, June 28, in a t-shirt connecting him to Limestone County: The shirt cam from the Athens Buc-ee’s.

The city of Athens social media posted the photo on Wednesday, July 3, welcoming the singer to stop by City Hall the next time he is in town.

According to a Facebook post from Tyler and Nikki Clark, they spotted a “well-disguised” Urban in the Athens Buc-ee’s on Saturday, June 23, and got to meet the country superstar.

This was not the first time Urban has dawned a Buc-ee’s t-shirt on stage as he was spotted sitting with the Buc-ee’s mascot during the 2024 CMT Awards for a skit.

Urban is apparently carrying on the joke, and the city of Athens is the latest to earn the recognition of appearing on stage with the country music star.
