FAME Academy at Brookhill Elementary now has friendly D.O.G.S. roaming through the hallways. These Dads of Great Students, also known as “Watch D.O.G.S.,” serve not only as a positive role models but also as an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance campus safety.

This is the first year for Brookhill to have D.O.G.S. in the building. Watch D.O.G.S. not only have the opportunity to engage with their own student while on duty, but also other members of the Brookhill family. From greeting the students when they enter the building, to monitoring the lunchroom, to helping with traffic flow, to reading to a class, to mentoring students, these gentlemen have made a commitment to spend at least one day on campus during the school year.

Brookhill kicked off this national initiative at a recent “Pizza with Pops” event where they invited fathers, step-fathers, grandfathers, uncles, father figures and more to offer their time to serve as a Brookhill Watch D.O.G.S.
