Saturday, Sept. 30, the Fall Market will wrap up the 2023 season for the Athens Farmers Market. The Fall Market will be open 8 a.m-noon. At the conclusion of this year’s market season, renovation to the park will soon get underway.
“This season we have once again grown in our number of vendors and customers, and I can’t wait to continue that growth next year with the improvements the Doug Gates Park renovation will bring,” Athens Farmers Market Director Kat Greene said.
The special Fall Market will be an especially fun day for the youngsters as they can participate in the free trick or treating event with the market’s vendors.
“Fall Market is a perfect ending to a great market season. The weather feels great, the kids have a blast trick or treating with the vendors, and it gives the community one more chance to support our vendors and purchase their wonderful products,” Greene said.
Houston Ridge Bluegrass Band will perform at the market from 9-11 a.m. The kids activity will be a fun Pumpkin Patch craft to take home.
The following vendors are scheduled to participate in the Fall Market.
