Rachel Elizabeth Niedzwiecki and Keith Andrew Bloemer, both of Athens, were married in a 1 p.m. ceremony May 12 at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Alookaran officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Abe and Elizabeth Niedzwiecki of Athens. She is the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles T. Clanton of Sumter, S.C. and Christine Niedzwiecki of Thorp, Wis., and the late Michael Niedzwiecki.

The groom is the son of Mark and Cathy Bloemer of Athens. He is the grandson Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Bloemer of Louisville, Ky., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Shaner.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and mother.

Maid of honor was Brittany Rohland. Bridal attendants were Jenna Bloemer, Maggie Crandall, Elizabeth Schexnayder and Mary Caillouet. Honorary bridesmaid was Sarah Niedzwiecki.

Tommy Caillouet served as best man. Groomsmen were Nick Niedzwiecki, Andrew Hopkins, Tim O’Neill and Joshua Harris and ushers were Isaac Niedzwiecki, William Higdon and Brandon Campbell.

The ringbearer was Joshua Wright.

Music was provided by John Clanton and Sarah Niedzwiecki.

A reception followed the ceremony at Madelyn’s in the Grove.

After a wedding trip to Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico, the couple returned home to Fayetteville, Ga.
