Shaeli Elizabeth Tyler, daughter of Nathan and Melodi Tyler of Athens, celebrated her first birthday Aug. 19 at a pink zebra party. Her birthday is Aug. 17. She is the granddaughter of Juanita Tyler, Tony and Sonia Hasting, and Joy and Ronny Green, all of Athens, and the late Julian “Buddy” Tyler. Her great-grandparents are Alfred and Elizabeth McCown. Shaeli Beth has one sister Neeci Dawn Tyler, 3.
