Lindsey Allison HoFacker and Jordan Daniel Rockwell

Scott and Susan Hofacker of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Allison Hofacker of Birmingham, to Jordan Daniel Rockwell of Birmingham, son of Mark and Nadine Rockwell of Athens.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gary and Janet Hofacker of Athens and Stanley and Vivian Olive of Florence.

She is a 2008 graduate of Athens High School and is currently attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing with plans to graduate in May.

She is employed by Trinity Medical Center.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Lynn and Jane Rockwell of Anderson, Ind., and Sam and Christine Ogilvie of Columbus, Ind.

He is a 2006 graduate of Athens High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. He is currently pursuing his doctor of optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

The wedding is planned for May 19 at First Baptist Church in Athens.
