Richard and Karen Brock of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter JoDe Nicole Brock of Decatur to Corey Colvett Wilson of Elkmont, son of Jimmy and Martha Wilson of Elkmont.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marcella Thompson Moore of Decatur, the late Bill Thompson, and the late Calvin and Louise Brock.

She is a 1996 graduate of Athens High School and a 2000 graduate of The University of Alabama, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance. She is employed by NASA contractor Al-Razaq as a budget analyst.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Theo and Irene Wilson and the late Brownie and Mary Paul Colvett.

He is a 1995 graduate of Elkmont High School.

He is self-employed as a farmer.

The wedding is planned for Nov. 11 at First Baptist Church in Athens.
