The funeral for Kathryn Vivian Pillow, 80, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Bobby Powell officiating.

Visitation is from 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.

She died Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Athens Limestone Hospital.

Kathryn Vivian Pillow was born Nov. 20, 1930, in Baldwin County, Fla., to Nathan Leanzy Gainey and Ardealie Isabelle Smith Gainey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, sisters and one grandson.

Survivors include two sons, George Howard Pillow Sr. of Florida and James Thomas Pillow of Kentucky; three daughters, Joyce Jackson of Mississippi, Carolyn Roberson and Janet Richter, both of Athens; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
