Holleman to serve sentence in Alabama

TUPELO, Miss. (AP) — Former developer Jack Holleman has been ordered to report to an Alabama prison to serve a 12-month sentence for tax evasion.
In May, Holleman, of Tupelo pleaded guilty to his part in a scheme to avoid paying six years of federal taxes.
The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/qzFNyn) the federal court in Oxford this week told Holleman to report to the Montgomery Federal Prison Camp by 2 p.m. Oct. 31.
Holleman also has been ordered to pay $260,447 to the government.
His co-defendant, West Point CPA Gary Hamilton, was convicted but has yet to have his prison designated by the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.
