Jesse Dylan Holladay and Brandi Nicole Dollar

Charles and Gloria Fergus of Elkmont announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Nicole Dollar of Sumter, S.C., to Jesse Dylan Holladay of Sumter, S.C., son of David and Susan Holladay of Decatur.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Hobert and Betty Dollar of Athens.

She is a 1997 graduate of West Limestone High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of North Alabama where she received a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed by Tuomey Heathcare System as a registered nurse.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Bailey and Betty Nichols and Rufus and Mavis Holladay.

He is a 1996 graduate of Decatur High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of North Alabama where he received a bachelor’s degree in sociology. He is a 2011 graduate from of University of Phoenix where he received his master’s in psychology. He is a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 31 at New Zion Baptist Church in Russellville.
