Wedding: Austin-Sonnier

Natalie Elizabeth Austin of Athens and William Preston Sonnier of Mobile were united in marriage at St. Paul Catholic Church in Athens on June 11 with the Rev. Charles Alookaran officiating and the Most Rev. David E. Foley, D.D., Bishop Emeritus, presiding.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Austin of Athens. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Austin of Tullahoma, Tenn., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lewis.
The groom is the son of Kay Sonnier of Mobile and Dr. Marc Sonnier of Tuscaloosa. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Norman Stanfield of Mobile and the late Mr. William C. Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. P. Elmore Sonnier.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Leslie Austin, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nikki Aydt, Amanda Duren, Melissa Gessner, Camille Sonnier, Kyndal Sonnier, and Kacey Swindell.
Quentin Sonnier, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Ben Fairbee, Ryan Gentry, Brandon Peters, Austin Smith, Daniel Smith, and Zachary White. Ushers were Jamie Smith and David Wilson.
Music was provided the late Judy Cafiero, organist and pianist, and vocalist Camille Sonnier, sister of the groom.
A reception followed at the Valley Event Center. The rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s parents at Limestone Bay Trading Company in Mooresville.
After a wedding trip to St. Maarten, the couple returned to Mobile.
