Joanna (Jody) Wilson of New Boston, Mich., and Brandon Matlock of Athens, were married in a 7 p.m. ceremony Nov. 28, 2009, at Crystal Gardens in Southgate, Mich., with the groom’s grandfather Doug Matlock officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Wilson of Athens. She is the granddaughter of David and Juanita Buck of New Boston.

The groom is the son of Todd and Tina Matlock of Athens. He is the grandson of Doug and Virginia Matlock of Athens, and Tony and Pat DeCicco of Warrior.

The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, David Buck.

Maid of honor was Daneen Nielson. Bridal attendant was Cristen Matlock. The flower girl was Hannah Raines.

Logan Matlock served as best man. Groomsman was Devin Wilson.

A reception dinner was served after the wedding for the parents and grandparents.

After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple returned home to Athens.
