Wedding – Pate-Wiggs

Jacquelyn McLendon Pate of Raleigh, N.C. and Michael Andrew Wiggs of Winston-Salem, N.C. were married in a 5:30 p.m. ceremony June 12 at Highland United Methodist Church in Raleigh with the Rev. Heather H. Lear officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dixon Pate of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Donelson Branch Horton of Athens and the late Donelson Branch Horton and Mr. and Mrs. Jack McLendon Pate.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Belk Wiggs of Winston-Salem. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Belk Wiggs of Winston-Salem and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Louis Bruncati.
The maid of honor was Virginia Donelson Garrett and the matron of honor was Sarah Tedder Boehm. Bridal attendants were Darrow Pate Brown, Katherine Oliver Pate, Lori Jameson Carson, Elisha Grace Phoenix, Lee Ann Jones and Ashley Bullard Lackey.
Readers were Megan Worth Armstrong and Melissa Kirk Armstrong.
The best man was Steven Belk Wiggs. Groomsmen were Matthew Richard Brearley, Jeremy Scott Klein, Russell Lindsay Gordon, William Walter Lane, Brian Marshall Johnson, Sean Michael Terretti and Gregory Scott Wiggs.
Greeters were Frances Randolph Smith and Jennifer Brooke Tallent.
The guest register was kept by Anna Danae Russell.
A reception followed the ceremony at Vaughn Towers – Carter Finley Stadium.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia the couple returned home to Raleigh.
