Tanner’s varsity boys basketball program honored former longtime coach Chris Whitt on Tuesday.

Whitt racked up 586 career wins and led the Rattlers to a pair of state championships (2011, 2013) during a sensational tenure that also included 12 county titles, 21 area titles, 23 regional berths, 13 regional titles and 13 Final Four berths.

Whitt was also recently inducted into the Limestone County Sports Hall of Fame.
