The funeral for Ronny Ray Goode, 52, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home with Donald Terry officiating. Burial will be in Dement Cemetery.

Visitation is from noon until time of the service today at the funeral home.

He died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at home.

Mr. Goode was born April 6, 1957, in Limestone County. He was a retired carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Hamilton Clemmons of Lester; son, Wesley Robinson Goode of Athens; grandchildren, Christian Hayden Hamilton and Destiny Haven Hamilton; brothers, Joe Goode, Donny Goode and Thomas Goode, all of Athens; sisters, Jean Trousdale, Carolyn Lane, Connie King and Mary Kyle, all of Athens; nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Goode, Dewayne Kyle, Rodney Webster, Jonathan King, Shane Saxon and Jimmy Lane.
