Hallie Monique Anderson formerly of Athens now of Atlanta, Ga., and James Patrick Dillon formerly of Sparta N.C., now of Atlanta, were marred in a 5 p.m. ceremony May 23, 2009, at Markaryds Kyrka in Markaryd, Sweden, with Vicar Carl Eric Svensater officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henning O. Anderson, formerly of Athens, now of Flowery Branch, Ga. Her grandparents are Ellen Husfeldt of Hutchinson, Minn., the late Emil Husfeldt, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henning J. Anderson.

The groom is the son of Elizabeth Dillon of Sparta, N.C. and the late James Dillon. His grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dillon, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude Doughton.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Maid of honor was Angela Hanners Wilson. Bridal attendant was Mary Dillon.

David Lawing served as best man. Groomsman was Kenneth Hitchings.

Music was provided by organist Dan Krantz, a string quartet, a duet with the bride and Anna Simpson Moulton, and soloist Alysia Owen.

A reception followed the ceremony at Gastro Restaurant, Helsingborg, Sweden.

After a wedding trip to Florence, Siena, Porto Ercole, and Rome, Italy, the couple returned home to Atlanta, Ga.
