Limestone County Schools students competing in public safety competition

During the June 10, Limestone County Schools board meeting, Superintendent Dr. Randy Shearouse, along with board members, recognized the achievements of cadets from the Career Technical Center’s Public Safety Program. These students competed with other students from across the state in the firefighting portion of the Top of Alabama Regional Public Safety Competition and placed first.
Those recognized include: Lillie Patterson, Lillian Hill, Brittney Herrington and Jeremiah Scott
Patterson was the highest scoring female firefighter at the state SkillsUSA firefighting competition earlier this year.
