Four local softball teams — Ardmore, Athens, Lindsay Lane and West Limestone — claimed their respective area tournament titles on Tuesday.

Those four squads — along with area runner-up Athens Bible — will compete in next week’s regional competitions for a chance to advance to the state tournament.

Ardmore, Athens, Athens Bible and Lindsay Lane will head to Florence for the North Regional. West Limestone, meanwhile, will travel to Albertville for the East Regional.
