Hours: Elkmont, East Limestone, Tanner, Owens Senior Centers are open 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Goodsprings Senior Center is open 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Limestone County Council on Aging will host our annual Health Expo, “Spring into Health.” April 11 at Central Church of Christ 10-1.

Senior menus

Monday: Orange/Pineapple Juice, Italian Macaroni, Country Vegetables, Parslied Carrots, Whole Wheat Bread, Chocolate Cake, milk, margarine.
Tuesday: Apple Juice, BBQ Rib Patty, Green Beans, Cabbage, Whole Grain Hamburger Bun, Vanilla pudding, milk, margarine.
Wednesday: Cranberry Juice, Chop Steak/Gravy, Country Potatoes, Turnip Greens, Cornbread, Fig Bar, milk/buttermilk, margarine.
Thursday: Creamy Paprika Chicken Breast, Whole Kernel Corn, Peas and Carrots, Fresh Fruit, Texas Bread, Fudge Round, milk, margarine.
Friday: Taco Salad: Taco Seasoned Beef, Lettuce/Cheese/Tomato, Corn Chips, Pinto Beans, Cherry Fruited Gelatin, Milk/Chocolate Milk, Sour Cream/Taco Sauce.

Announcements

— The Administrative office at 503 S. Jefferson St. is open, hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
— If you need help with medication through a PAP/ Pharmaceutical patient assistance programs, please contact Carla Sims at 256-233-6412 for more information and to see if you qualify.
— Transportation is now available for doctor’s appointments and rides to the senior centers. Call in advance to schedule.
— Shopping trips are now running two days a week. Please call in advance to schedule.
