Athens’ softball team pounded out 18 hits in a 21-8 victory against Muscle Shoals on Tuesday.

Every player in the starting lineup tallied at least one hit for the Golden Eagles, who improved to 11-6 on the season following the Class 6A, Area 15 clash.

Jazz Davis led the way with a team-high three hits and four RBIs, while Lily Lowery (four RBIs) went deep to spearhead a group of seven Athens players with two hits apiece.
