LOCAL SPORTS: North Alabama Elite Wrestling dazzles at TAYW-USA State Championship

North Alabama Elite Wrestling delivered a fine performance at this year’s TAYW-USA State Championship, finishing with eight state champions at the K-8 competition, which took place this weekend at Vestavia Hills High School.
NAEW, which placed in the Top 10 overall, finished runner-up in 6U and fourth in 10U.
Brayden Jackson, Bryant Jackson, Braiden Wilson, Frank Macon and Matthew Cole each made the Region 1 Dual All-Star team.
The Region 1 Dual A team placed third and the Region 1 Dual B team first in their respective competitions.
