Fall camp kicked off this past week for high school teams around the state, including several in The News Courier’s coverage area — with the season set to open August 22.

Key Returners: Jake Guthrie, Caleb Boldin, Ethan Adams, Lincoln Doner

Quick Hitter: The Red Devils earned four wins last fall — most since 2014 — and enter the upcoming season with new head coach Joel Schrenk, who racked up 49 wins and five playoff berths in seven years as the head coach at Falkville (2012-18) in neighboring Morgan County.
