Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported arrests on the following charges Wednesday.

• reckless endangerment, traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, electronic solicitation of a child, transmitting obscene material to a child

• non-support- child

• reckless endangerment, reckless driving, driving while license suspended/revoked, attempting to elude a police officer

• second-degree domestic violence- second-degree assault

• two counts possession of controlled substance

• unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, first-degree criminal trespass

• possession of controlled substance

• two counts driving left of center roadway, first-degree receiving stolen property, three counts fail stop sign, attempt to elude by motor vehicle

County Thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Wednesday.

• Elkmont- fourth-degree theft, car battery, lawnmower battery, April 15-16, $140, 22000 block Johnson Lane

• Athens- first-degree theft, 2020 gray UTLC enclosed utility trailer, April 15-16, $10,000, 8600 block US Hwy 72

• Athens- third-degree theft, US currency, April 16, $1042, 100 block W. Elm Street

City Arrests

The Athens Police Department reported arrests on the following charges Wednesday.

• driving under the influence

• failure to appear: driving while suspended, expired tag; no drivers license

• arrest for other agency

• unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana

The Athens Police Department reported the following property crimes Wednesday.

• third-degree retail theft, miscellaneous products, April 16, $10, 100 block US Hwy 31
