Hudson Marks and Riley Miller combined to toss a no-hitter in Athens’ 1-0 win over Muscle Shoals on Tuesday. 

Marks started the game and pitched five perfect innings with 11 strikeouts. Miller then registered the save with a two-inning outing that included two walks and five strikeouts. 

The Golden Eagles’ lone run came in the fourth inning on a fielder’s choice. 

Athens (2-0) is back in action on Thursday with a road game at Westminster Christian.
