Prepared packages of underwear await delivery after the T.R.A.I.L. group’s ‘Undies for Everyone’ initiative.

Athens and Limestone County TRAIL members and friends teamed up for Undies for Change to provide packages of underwear to children in need in our community. Undies for Everyone is an organization that recognizes underwear insecurity and works to fulfill this small basic need to help increase confidence in children and encourage chances for long-term success. Undies were donated to McKinney-Vento Homeless Education programs.

The mission of TRAIL is to effectively enhance the lives of the youth of Limestone County through their time, talent and treasure. TRAIL members are comprised of 17 students from Athens City Schools and Limestone County Schools. Athens City Schools TRAIL members include Avery Paysinger, Blythe Menefee, Benny Seibert, Maggie Leonard, Harper Rea and sponsor Laura Lou Smith.
