Limestone County was well-represented at this year’s state indoor track and field meet.

Athens’ Malea Wiggins (shot put), Athens’ JayShon Ridgle (60-meter hurdles) and Tanner’s Skylar Townsend (high jump) each recorded first-place finishes in their respective events during the two-day competition at the Birmingham Crossplex, while several other athletes produced standout performances as well.
