In reading the Dec. 26 edition, I am so thankful for the News Courier publishing “The Christmas Story.”

Our society has become so easily offended by the least thing that most media sources will bow to the few that are offended by the least little thing.

Sometimes it takes courage to stand up when we are offended, but I think maybe it takes greater courage to stand up to print the truth, even if we know that it will offend. If we stick to the truth we will not err.

In closing, again I thank you and leave you with these words so often quoted by a dear friend, “the truth will stand when the world’s on fire!”
