Xavier Edwards provided an 8-yard touchdown run with 2:50 left and a 30-yard scoring scamper with 1:38 to go to give the East Limestone the lead.

Ty Moore then intercepted a screen pass on the Warriors’ ensuing possession and the home team ran the clock down to 0:17 before having a field goal try blocked.

The Warriors, though, were unable to score from there and dropped to 4-5, 1-4 on the season.

Jan Stotz kicked a field goal in the first quarter and Mark Guerrero added a touchdown run late in the first half to tie the score at 10.

East Limestone travels to Ardmore next week.
