Ahead of Friday night’s game against Mae Jemison, the Athens High School Golden Eagles hosted a “black light” pep rally.

The cheerleaders, band and dance team donned fluorescent clothing and face paint and performed for the audience, glowing with Golden Eagle spirit under the black lights in their brightly colored and painted clothing.

Audience members were encouraged to wear white and neon to support the football team, most of which were wearing white shorts and shoes of their own.
