UPDATE: Victim in U.S. 31 fatal wreck was pedestrian

UPDATE: This story has been updated to reflect the name of the victim is Lisa Lynn Terry, according to troopers. It also corrects the year of the Honda Fit that struck the vehicle.
The Tanner woman who died early Saturday morning on U.S. 31 in Limestone County was struck by a vehicle, according to state troopers.
Lisa Lynn Terry, 48, was struck and killed by a 2019 Honda Fit after stopping in the roadway and getting out of her vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda was not injured.
The crash occurred at 12:20 a.m. at the 363 mile marker on U.S. 31, just under a mile south of Athens.
Nothing further is available as troopers continue to investigate.
