Men’s Conference. Round Island Creek Missionary Baptist Association will host a men’s conference meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 11 at the Mission Center. All churches are asked to pay $120, which will pay for 12 tickets to the conference. The conference will take place April 26-27. All checks, or money orders need to be mailed in by April 14. Gospel meetings. Northside Church of Christ will host gospel meetings Sunday, March 10, through Wednesday, March 13. Services Monday through Wednesday are at 7 p.m., while Sunday services are at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The following speakers will be featured: James Hinkle, Sunday; David Cox, Monday; Bill Irby, Tuesday; and Carl Witty, Wednesday. Gospel singing. Riddles Chapel United Methodist Church will host performances by The Dixie Echoes and One Voice starting 6 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the church, 11327 Ripley Road, Athens. Free admission; love offering taken. More information: 256-777-0351.

Gospel concert. The gospel quartet Purpose will be in concert at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 17, at Majestic Chapel, 21315 Hays Mill Road, Elkmont. More information: Pastor Mike Webster, 256-431-8038.

Food pantry. Full Gospel Tabernacle Community Christian Church will host a food pantry from 4-7 p.m. Wednesdays at the church, 17470 Seven Mile Post Road, Athens. More information: Joseph Fifer, 256-262-3052.

Preschool registration. New Life Assembly of God at 16768 U.S. 72, Athens, is now enrolling students for its child-development program. The program, for children ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten, is 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Anyone who recommends someone else is eligible for $25 off the first week’s tuition.
