A shooting in a vehicle has left Interstate 565 eastbound at the Zeirdt Road overpass partially blocked.

Local officials have said the shooting was in a van that pulled to the side of the road and a victim has been transported to Huntsville Hospital in critical condition. 

Please exercise caution in the area as first-responders work to clear the scene.
