Heavy rain, high winds likely Thursday, Friday

If you see any sunshine today, enjoy it while it lasts because the next two days could be pretty wet and windy.
Torrential rain and strong, gusty winds are likely Thursday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Huntsville.
A flash flood watch is in effect from 6 p.m. Thursday through 9 a.m. Friday in Limestone, Madison, Lauderdale and Morgan counties. Up to 3 inches of rain is anticipated Thursday and Friday, and that amount could be higher in some locations.
A wind advisory is in effect for the same counties from 12 a.m. Thursday through 12 a.m. Friday. Winds of 20 to 25 mph will blow from the southeast, and gusts up to 35 mph will be possible. Untethered objects may be blow down. High winds may also down limbs and trees, which could lead to power outages.
