Robert and Joy Hendrix celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary

Robert and Joy Hendrix celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 11, 2009. The couple were married on Nov. 11, 1949, at the Downtown Church of Christ in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. They have four children, Allison Kuykendall and husband Wayne, the late Stephen Hendrix and wife Kay Hendrix, Patsy Hendrix, and Judy Hendrix. They have six grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, and five great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson. Mr. and Mrs. Hendrix reside in Huntsville where they have lived on Linda Street for the past 40 years. Robert is a retired minister for the Church of Christ, and Joy is a retired teacher from Huntsville City Schools.
