Children deserve better
Dear Editor:
It is so very sad that Superintendent Sisk and the Limestone County Board of Education are so focused on idol gossip, rumors and allegations.
Have they forgotten about our children attending Tanner High School?
The students at Tanner High School have been without their No. 1 encourager, confidant and supporter for a while now, and without good cause. (Seriously.)
Mr. Gordon cares deeply for his students, but some of the people that are elected and paid by the community would rather appease special interests and self-serving people with personal agendas.
It seems the ears of the men in charge are closed to the masses and open to the select few.
Do we have to have protest, hold press conferences and community meetings every week?
Our children deserve better.
Sincerely,
Wil Woodruff
