Katrina Marie Harrel of Athens and John Frank Blaha IV of Huntsville were married in a 3 p.m. ceremony Sept. 27, 2009, at the Huntsville Marriott with Daniel Metcalf officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John Allen Harrel III and Laura D. Harrel of Athens. Her grandparents are Nettie Ray Dishough of Athens, the late W.W. Dishongh, the late Dr. John A. Harrel Jr., and the late Genevieve Harrel.

The groom is the son of John and Cynthia Blaha of Huntsville. His grandparents are John and Diane Blaha of Chicago, Ill.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Traci Rush. Bridal attendants were Ashley Romine, Megan Robitzsch, and Katie Blaha.

Ian Puckett served as best man. Groomsmen were Blake Brewer, Daniel Whiznant, and Cory Pritchett.

Music was provided by harpist Steven Todd Miller. The guest register was kept by Beth Ann Hughes.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Huntsville Marriott. Servers were Sharon Rush and Lacy Kerr.

The couple resides in Huntsville.
