Limestone County Schools will be closed Thursday. Superintendent Dr. Tom Sisk cited continued hazardous road conditions in outlying parts of the county as the main factor in the decision.

He said there are still many roads that have pockets of ice in areas like Elkmont, Ardmore and Lester.
