UPDATED: U.S. 72 crash victim ID’d as Rogersville woman

A Rogersville woman died Wednesday in a three-car crash on U.S. 72 near the intersection of Seven Mile Post Road, troopers said.
Pamela Price Pierce, 38, was killed when the Buick Park Avenue she was driving crossed into an oncoming lane and collided with a Nissan Sentra. Pierce was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were four people in the Sentra, and two of them were airlifted to Huntsville Hospital. Two others were taken by ambulance.
A Ford F-150 was also involved in the crash, but the driver and two occupants were not injured, troopers said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
