Friday: Tanner will be the only center serving meals. All other centers will be on an outing at Yesterday’s Event Center. Italian mac casserole, Italian green beans, tossed salad w/ranch dressing, fresh fruit, wheat breadstick, fudge brownie, milk.

Craft and art classes

Limestone County Council on Aging will begin hosting paint/craft classes at each senior center throughout the county. Open to anyone in the community who is 60 or older. If interested, call Madison Curnutt, 256-216-3897 to reserve a spot. Space is limited. The schedules are as follows:

• Athens Senior Center: Second Tuesday of each month, beginning at noon on June 13;

• Ardmore Senior Center: Thursday at 9:30 a.m.; bring 12 pictures from one event to scrapbook;

• Elkmont Senior Center: Second Wednesday of each month beginning June 14 at 10 a.m.;

• Goodsprings Senior Center: ThirdThursday of each month beginning July 21 at 9:45 a.m.;

• Owens Senior Center: Third Wednesday of each month, beginning June 21 at 9:30 a.m.

• East Limestone Senior Center: Third Tuesday of each month, beginning June 20 at 9:30 a.m.; and

• Tanner Senior Center: First Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.
