Two people were arrested over the weekend as part of a wide-ranging drug investigation, an official said Monday.

Deputy Stephen Young, public information officer for the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, said 39-year-old Regina Danielle Davis of 1308 Elkton St., Athens, and 33-year-old Gregory Lance Kelley of 904 N. Houston St., Athens, were both arrested as part of an ongoing roundup.

Young previously said 30 arrest warrants were executed on 22 suspects wanted on various narcotics charges. Nine people were arrested Friday as part of the roundup.

Davis, who was arrested Saturday, was charged with distribution of a controlled substance. Her bail is set at $10,000.

Kelly was arrested Sunday on two counts of distribution of a controlled substance. His bail is set at $20,000.

Both remained in jail Monday evening.
