County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Wednesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Mary Alice Beard, 43, of 114 Magnolia St., Athens, driving while license suspended

• Billy Joe Burris, 57, of 1075 Holt Hollow Road, Prospect, Tennessee, second-degree criminal mischief

• Cathie Dianne Carter, 63, of 23555 Berzett Road, Athens, fourth-degree theft of property

• Leah Megan Eastup, 28, of 16569 Zehner Road, Athens, harassment

• Benjamin Allen Hill, 26, of 30618 Lester Road, Athens, third-degree receiving stolen property

• James Alfred Kirby, 42, of 121 Scotland Drive, Athens, first-degee robbery

• James Charles Mathews, 47, of 17755 New Cut Road, Athens, third-degree assault

• Vanessa Lashaun White, 37, of 803 N. Beaty St., Athens, driving while license suspended, driving on the wrong side of the road, operating a vehicle without insurance and fourth-degree theft of property

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• ELKMONT — Dewalt brand drill set and Porter-Cable drill set and radio, total $380, stolen between March 13 and April 3 from the 28000 block of Pettusville Road

• ATHENS — Alabama license plate of unknown value stolen between March 30 and April 4 from 5000 block Bay Village Drive

• ELKMONT — Sewing machine base, cast-iron fireplace, tricycle, ladder, wood crate and hand tool, total $188, stolen April 4 from 26000 block Upper Elkton Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Katlin Elizabeth Frazier, 20, of 22268 Sugar Way, Elkmont, third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and breaking and entering a vehicle

• Scott Illes Taylor, 51, of 10262 Kimbrell Road, Athens, driving under the inflluence (controlled subtsances)

City thefts

The Athens Police Department had reported the following thefts or incidents Tuesday:

• Apple iPhone 6S valued at $500 stolen April 3 from Athens High School

• $535 in cash or coins stolen April 3 from 1000 block of U.S. 72 West

• $380 in cash or coins stolen April 3 from 300 block MacBeth Street

• Blue baby carrier with two wheels valued at $75 stolen April 4 from 100 Christopher Circle

• Jennings brand .38-caliber pistol valued at $400 stolen March 31 from 900 block East Strain Road
