Question about justice system
Dear Editor:
What is wrong with our justice system?
Someone please explain to me how a person who is awaiting trial for one crime and, while out on bond for another crime, breaks into a gun store and steals over 50 guns can be released on a $2,500 bond?
Is the stealing of more than 50 guns by a known criminal not a serious crime? It would seem to me to be a very serious situation.
It would also seem to me a person who is already out on bond for one crime should never be released if committing another crime. It appears it is not considered so by out DA and court system.
I truly need help with an explanation on this one please.
Sincerely,
Dale McElyea
