Records show after Hyatt left Falkville, he went to Hanceville where an officer tried to conduct a traffic stop. Hyatt allegedly fled the officer, leading to a chase.
Police caught Hyatt and took him to Hanceville Police Department where he admitted taking the truck.
Authorities then sent him to Morgan County Jail where he remained Wednesday with a $7,500 bond.
Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Lt. Jay Stinnett said earlier this year Hyatt went to jail in Decatur after a city officer arrested him for allegedly taking a utility trailer from Highline Inc. in Tanner and a Dodge Ram from Tinnon’s Auto Sales in Athens.
Stinnett said when Hyatt was arrested, he was allegedly pulling another truck taken from Decatur on the utility trailer.
After Hyatt posted bond in Decatur, Limestone County deputies arrested him Jan. 28 where he stayed until Feb. 28. He posted $2,500 bond.
