Investigator Jonathan Caldwell obtained the warrant for Davis’ arrest after he investigated the burglary.

On the morning of Sept. 12, police received a call from the owner of the restaurant saying the front door had been knocked out and the cash register had been stolen.

Davis became a suspect in the case after he was arrested on unrelated charges by investigators with the Limestone County Sheriff’s Department.

Bail is set at $2,500.
